The Society of the Friendly Sons of St. Patrick on Long Island is an organization composed of the Sons of Erin and their descendants who live or work on Long Island and are engaged in business, professional, or public service endeavors.

Our members share a deep interest in supporting the economic development of Ireland—the homeland of our ancestors—as well as contributing to the growth and prosperity of Long Island. We are equally committed to celebrating and preserving the rich heritage and cultural traditions of the Irish people.

The Society is also dedicated to philanthropic and charitable efforts, striving to assist and uplift those less fortunate, both within our local communities and in Ireland.

Members gather four times each year in a social setting and participate in additional events and activities organized by the Board of Governors.

Irish American business, professional, labor, and public leaders who live or work on Long Island are encouraged to seek membership in the Friendly Sons.
